About Robyn and Steve Holland
- Robyn Holland, a journalist, and Steve Holland a photographer met when they were working for the Sydney Morning Herald in 1989.
- They now live and work on Queensland's Gold Coast.
- In 1999 they travelled around Australia in a campervan to collect the material for this book.
- Their children, Kate (then 4) and Matthew (2) travelled with them. Meg, their third child, was born a few weeks after returning home.
